PA Official States "No Humanitarian Crisis in Gaza"

As part of this story in the Jerusalem Post about how the PA is nervous Turkey's actions are strengthening Hamas, we have this interesting tidbit:

"Azzam al-Ahmed, a top Fatah official in the West Bank, was quoted over the weekend as saying that he was opposed to the lifting of the blockade on the Gaza Strip until Hamas agreed to end the dispute with his faction.

Ahmed stressed that there was no humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip because the PA government was sending aid through Israeli border crossings."
When an Israeli says there's no humanitarian crisis, they are accused of racism and hiding the truth. I wonder what will happen when a Palestinian makes a statement that contradicts Hamas propaganda?

  1. Don't expect that to show up on HP. I mean if you cheerlead for the Hamas fascists, how can you consider the PA to really represent the Palestinians? And they hate Israel and still they want the blockade maintained. Is the Obama Administration and the world going to listen to them? Yeah sure - after they've handed Hamas a victory.

  2. You don't understand the credibility issue of a Fatah official who speaks about Gaza?
    Incredible.
