An Interesting Dichotomy

Looking at the Huffington Posts' "World" section, I noticed an interesting difference between the number of comments and the nature of the articles. I thought I would share them (as of 9 pm last night):

British Politician Apologizes For Bloody Sunday-88 comments
Children DIE While Parents Watch World Cup-54 comments
Hitman Stopped On Solo Mission to Kill Bin Laden-1,252 comments
Somali Fans Executed For Watching World Cup-663 comments
Worldwide More Than 12 Million "Modern Slaves"-5 comments
"Several Hundred" Kill in Kyrgyzstan-21 comments
Bangladesh Landslides Kill at Least 47-1 comment
100,000 Uzbecks Flee Kyrgyzstan-130 comments.

And then we have:
Ireland Expels Israeli Diplomat-870 comments.

Less than the Bin Laden hitman but more than all of the others, include Somali executions. I guess the HP knows which news stories really draw in the viewers, don't they?

  1. The Jews command attention all out of proportion to the rest of the world. What they do interests people more than in any other country in the world. And its ironic to hear the anti-Zios complain Israel gets far too much coverage!
