Though this user is referencing classic anti-Semitic tropes, he is always careful to be referring to "Israeli neocons" instead of some of other kind of group. Unfortunately, this facade doesn't keep up into the last paragraph. If only Israeli neocons are doing these bad things, why would "most Americans" (aka him) take it out against Israel as a country? Unless they had something against Israelis in general, and the "Israeli neocon" thing is just an excuse for manifesting it? If this wasn't sufficient proof, his use of the phrase "politician/criminals" as if in Israel, they are one and the same, regardless of their political leanings. Again, very informative.
So here's a tip to anti-Zionists who want to use an anti-Semitic trope and not get called out on it: Stay consistent with your code words for Jews. If you are pretending to hate only "neo-cons" than make only sure to only use that term. Because as Matt likes to say, we are keeping track of this stuff.

I find all this amusing. You have anti-Semites who won't come out and say it. Say that you hate Jews and consider them the plague of mankind. Why the charade?
ReplyDeleteActually Prager & Telushkin talk about how this is the only kind of anti-Semitism in which the practitioners hide their anti-Semitic nature.
ReplyDeleteAnd the charade is simply because attacking Jews is no longer acceptable in this day and age. Code words are necessary to say this kind of thing.
