What the world remembers the most is the recent completely out of control bloodletting by the IDF in Gaza, the ruthless cold-blooded murder of defenseless civilians, by one of the worlds most well armed and trained militaries and the construction of a wall much more forbidding and much more deadly than the Berlin Wall, and the ugly attacks by the IDF on Lebanon.
You are living in a dreamworld if you believe otherwise. Everyone knows who the bad guys are in this picture. Not much to think about. The pro Israel PR machine is spinning like a broken record, over and over again, the same talking points. When are you people going to realise that cold blooded murder of civilians, stealing people's land and homes, in full view of the world cannot be spinned off with talking points, Hollywood propaganda and smooth talking lies?

Let's be honest - Israel cannot continue to cage millions of people for generations. Every time people spin and spin to get the upper hand politically, there are thousands of children dying. The small extreme elements on both sides (Hamas and Likud) must be purged and replaced by progressive leadership to bring a lasting peace for the majority in the region. The world one day will say enough is enough to the daily holocaust on the Palestinians.

Palestinian resistance to Israel's apatheid state is natural. If the US was occupied by, say, 10 million foreign troops who also received an unlimited supply of advanced weaponry from a sympathetic superpower I'm quite sure that every good-ole-boy teabagger would be "fightin 'em in the streets"
The thing I have never understood is how the Jewish state, of all nations, can justify their ghettos. I thought "never again!" actually meant something.

As for Palestinian violence, how else can they resist their occupiers and oppressors?Gotta say, its refreshing to see a middle east protest with an injection of humor. And I have to agree with the parallels between life and fiction.
It might be a smart move on the Palestinians part to inject more whimsey into their protests. Israel has gotten away with it's brutality because it portrays Palestinians as evil savages (Avatar anyone?). Isaelis have homes, adequate education,food, water ,health care, and freedom of movement. Palestinians have none of this. We got a saying in the Black community.
No matter what you say, millions of Palestianians have no home, no country ,and I''m sitting in a plane next to an American Jew who made money in America, has a home in America, got an excellent education in America, met his wife in America and still, still bitching about having a Jewish homeland? So he goes to another land and kicks out a group of people who have lived in their homes for generations and have ABSOLUTELY NO where to go! Millions of them forced out of their homes and then this guy gets defensive when I tell him America is the promised land not Israel.

You have not been persecuted here, unlike us in the African American community and yet we love this place, it is home to our greatest triumphs. Jewish Americans have some of the most impressive cultural acheivments and wealth creation in Jewish history done right here, and ya'll did it without anything close to the horror my ancestors endured. What's the number in 15 to 20yrs (can't remember exactly) Palestinians will out number Jews in their own so called homeland. Then what? Then justice will finally come to the Palestinians that's what. there are many others who are ashamed of being Christians in this day and age-Christians are to judge no one outside their own faith as they will become a stumbling block to people ever considering Christ as a savior -Christians have definitely become a stumbling block to many nations and peoples-the Jews don't seem to care if they have become a stumbling block to all nations-how could they ever hope to have all nations come to worship at their temple????
