The Huffington Post covered this story the other day. It basically was about a new tactic among some Palestinian protesters who decided to protest by painting themselves blue like the Na'vi from Avatar. I'm sure I don't need to remind anyone about the pretty glaring differences between the fictional struggle in the movie and the real-world motivations of the Palestinians in power. But needless to say, this problem ran into the same problem that all non-protests did: They attracted attention, but still did nothing to combat the reason Israel is taking the very actions that they are protesting. Namely, the terror groups that still exist in the West Bank.
Most of the responses on the HP were quite positive. They though the protesters were clever, and praised them for their use of humor and (more importantly) their non violence. There were a few comments worthy of attention, though. Click below to read them.
